BSN N.O.-XplodeN.O. Xplode is supposedly a formula for building muscle mass which which is a nitric oxide. It contains such ingredients as creatine, l-arginine and caffeine. Sold as a powder, it water is most often used to mix and consume it.

Marketed as a supplement for pre-workouts, the manufacturer of N.O. Xplode seems to be reputable, which is a nice change from most companies in this business.

However, it is important to note that the list of BSN N.O.-Xplode side effects is not pretty at all and you may decide that it’s not the right fitnees supplement for you.

The manufacturer of BSN N.O.-Xplode, Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition (BSN), claims that by taking this product twenty to thirty minutes before a workout, you will boost your energy, mental focus and endurance. Of course, the U.S. FDA does not regulate any fitness supplements, so it is impossible to confirm this claim via official clinical studies.

Now, the most important thing to point out about Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition’s N.O.-Xplode are the side effects that OFTEN accompany its use. Let’s have look at what exactly those side effects are:

  • Caffeine: There is a TON of caffeine in this product, which is never a good thing. Of course, all the experts preach moderation, but this product certainly does not adhere to this principle. Too much intake of caffeine can result in irritability, insomnia, anxiety, elevated heart rate, nausea, jitteriness and depression.
  • Niacin: A B vitamin, niacin can cause flushing, rashes and itching and/or tingly skin. With long-term use, it can also bring about liver damage, ulcers and elevate levels of blood sugar. The amount of niacin in N.O.-Xplod puts you just about at the daily intake limit with just one scoop (!).
  • Alanine: Too much of this substance can cause heavy flushing. Not a nice side effect and certainly not necessary.

Overall, many users reviews on a variety of websites all complain that using N.O.-Xplod has caused them to suffer stomach problems and sleep disorders as well as elevated blood pressure and heart rate. It certainly doesn’t appear that this supplement is very safe at all to take.
