The bodybuilding supplement industry is saturated with pre-workout supplements and there’s a good reason for that. You can feel pre-workout supplements immediately and people are getting massive pumps, power, and sustained energy bursts from pre-workout supplements. There’s a new pre-workout on the scene I’d like to share with you called ENGN from EVLUTION (EVL) NUTRITION.
Needless to say, the fitness supplement market is absolutely saturated with products such as supplements for a pre-workout. That’s probably a good thing. However, that also means that you need to wade through all the possible brands and decide for yourself what’s legit and what’s not; never an easy task in this industry.
One product, EVLUTION (EVL) NUTRITION ENGN is marketed as exactly that: a pre-workout booster. Advertising claims that by taking ENGN, you can boost your stores of intense energy, increase focus during your workouts, get more pumps and have more explosion in every reps.
But is all the hype really legit, or just more empy promises? Well, let’s dig in and find out for ourselves:
Evlution Nutrition, inc. is a fairly new player in the fitness supplement industry and that should be a yellow flag for caution. Doesn’t mean that they are con artists, but you just never know- always need to proceed with caution.
The manufacturer (who is either trying to be cool and urban with its name (and failing) or is just bad at spelling…) likes to point out the key ingredients found in EVL Nutrition ENGN, which are: creatine monohydrate and creatine HCI, as well as tons of vitamin B6 and B12.
However Evlution Nutrition fails to point out on its website the common side effects that many consumers have complained about suffering. Let’s take a look now at that list of ENGN side effects:
- Upset stomach
- Elevated heart rate
(Seems like we’ve got some caffeine here in this product. But why is that NEITHER mentioned on the product label NOR on Evlution Nutrition’s website??)
There is another yellow flag. Let’s switch to a soccer analogy: that’s now two yellow cards, and two yellows makes a red card: Evlution Nutrition’s EVL ENGN is ejected from the game. With those (unmentioned) side effects coupled with the fact that there is certainly caffeine in this product (which is also unmentioned), and this newbie company to the market gets an ‘F’ in my book.
