Nowadays, in our gym-crazy world, folks are always looking for an advantage to maximize their workouts and results. The latest fad on the market is the concept of protein supplements, which supposedly promote development of lean (healthy) muscle.
One product out there that is making the rounds is Syntha-6. Designed for body builders, the manufacturers, BSN Nutrition, also claim that is perfectly for amateur gym-goers as well. Although this is rather doubtful, let’s take a look and see how effective (and appropriate) this supplement really is.
Marketed as a protein supplement in powder form, the directions accompanying Syntha-6 direct you to mix it with water or milk. BSN Nutrition claims that the powder is fortified with various minerals and vitamins and comes in a variety of great tasting flavors.
Of course, they fail to mention the drawbacks related to consuming this product, nor do they tell you about the haunting shadow of Syntha-6 side effects making its way around the internet via consumer reviews.
But first things first. What ingredients are found in Syntha-6?
- Whey protein-wise
- Glutamine peptides
The majority of customer reviews slam this product, the main reasons being:
- Less than stellar results
- No guarantee
- No testimonials on the product website; none at all-natural
- No clinically-proven connection between its ingredients and weight-loss
- Iffy taste at best
Side effects caused by Syntha-6 yet:
- Muscle cramps
- Stomach pain
- Kidney damage
So, let’s do the math: that’s A LOT of nasty side effects in exchange for an expensive price tag….and not even mediocre results according to customer reviews (and it doesn’t help that the company hasn’t even posted a single positive testimonial on the product’s web page).
Verdict in; that’s heck of a big red flag and a simple warning to avoid this protein supplement, more or less like the plague.
